Objective
This project required building a branding system for an Asian fusion food truck located in Austin, TX that combines traditional Asian culinary art and a new modern twist. 
Approach
The Phudon project aimed to create a well thought out branding system for a food truck located in the heart of Austin. The goal was to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand that reflects the fusion of traditional Asian elements with modern design aesthetics. The restaurant has evolved into a food truck that combines the classic flavors of Vietnamese pho and Japanese udon, creating a modern take that blends traditional flavors into a new, diverse cuisine. The approach focused on balancing cultural authenticity with contemporary visuals, using bold typography, clean iconography, and a vibrant color palette to capture attention and communicate the brand's playful yet refined identity. Patterns and motifs inspired by East Asian design were reinterpreted in a minimal, modern way to create a fresh yet respectful brand presence.
